Mr. Enebakk and too many others like him in this manner take the partisan ideological statements of decidedly left-wing organizations at face value and treat them as the Gospel Truth. At the same time, they casually dismiss conservative viewpoints simply as unfounded and irrational “hate.” Enebakk has done virtually nothing to check if some of the statements made by these “Islamophobes” are actually correct, a behavior that violates the most fundamental principles of genuine research and critical investigation.
What we see here is classic agitprop, or agitation propaganda directed against ideological opponents. This kind of aggressive character assassination unfortunately has long traditions among left-wing activists, dating back at least to the Bolsheviks and the Soviet Union.

Breivik’s sister and other family members were horrified by his terror attacks, which they had nothing to do with. Mohammed Merah’s sister is on the record as praising her brother for his mass murder, and one of his brothers has been charged with actively aiding these murderous attacks. Except for some extremely marginal figures, no one on the “right wing” in Europe has supported Breivik’s terror attacks. Mohammed Merah has become a hero for an alarming number of young Muslims in Europe because of his terror attacks.
Immediately after his identity became known, many Western mass media claimed that Breivik’s terror attacks were ideologically motivated by anti-Islamic writings. In other words: Terrorism has nothing to do with being Islamic, but a great deal to do with being anti-Islamic.
After his attacks, the media indicated that while Breivik may have carried out his attacks alone, he was sane and came from a big flock of supporters. The same people indicated that Merah was a lone wolf and possibly insane. Yet years later, the police have found to trace of Breivik’s alleged “flock,” whereas Merah probably did come from a flock of supporters, and may have been aided by others in an organized manner prior to his attacks.
The very different treatments these two terrorists have received reveal a sometimes staggering double standard in the mass media and academia, not just in one nation but in multiple Western countries on both sides of the Atlantic.

Gang rapes and certain other types of violent crime were exceedingly rare in the Nordic countries a few decades ago, but are currently in the process of becoming routine. In Trondheim, Norway, on the 28th of May 2011, a young girl named Eva Helgetun took her own life. She was just 14 years old, and had been gang-raped by immigrants a few weeks before. Too many others share her fate.
In the 1960s when the so-called Second Wave of Feminism began, often with strong Marxist inspirations, Western women were relatively safe compared to women in other parts of the world. Half a century later, Western women have never had more Feminism, yet they and their children have also never been less safe.
Perhaps pointing out this fact constitutes “hate” in the eyes of some people, but that doesn’t make it any less true.

Dear Peder,If you happen to read, then my kindest regards and wishes to you. Do not be disheartened to what the Norwegian authorities, and followers in the MSM, have inflicted on you. They know that what they have done over the last few decades, has been the cause of the stress that Europe is now under. Europe is almost suffering from PTSD caused by the European ruling elite. Their response to "Breivik" has been to shift their own responsibility on to you – a deplorable, and downright dishonest act in evading responsibility. A quote from Bishop Latimer as he addressed his fellow clergy,man just as they were about to be burnt at the stake, "Play the man, Master Ridley; we shall this day light such a candle, by God's grace, in England, as I trust shall never be put out".
Fjordman's essays are always informative and educational. I have not finished all of his other articles yet. I would recommend that some of his articles be included in the English Language lessions in Chinese high schools or even colleges.

I'm glad he won. I tend to trust him more then Romney. And you have to admire the way he put King and CNN in its place. Of all the repub candidates I think he'd be the most competent. I do wish he'd consult with Ron Paul on matters economic, though.

After the immensly deep bow of the president of the EU Duma and in the state this world is at this moment, the muslim world might actually stand a chance of getting what they want: through the UN a universal prohibition on ‘blasphemy’ of islam and its prophet. Next step: induction of this rule in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Why is it that I would have to obey rules of a religion (ideology) that I myself do not (want to) follow? That I can not be critical of a ‘prophet’ who means nothing to me?
BTW, has anyone heard of the resolution of Strasbourg of 1975? You can read a lot about it but I haven’t seen the actual text of the resolution.
Muslim offences are about power.
Of course they are. But when it comes to the deployment and use of power, we are supreme.
We are invading and occupying any Muslim country we choose, or take a “liking” to. We install puppets in power, and leave the country in a wreck. We invade Afghanistan, an already wrecked country, not to wreck it, but to destabilise its neighbour. Check. If we choose, we remove the puppet we installed (Mubarek), and then wreck their economy even more.
It is this “couldnt give a shit” crusading of the West in Arab Muslim countries, that is the cause of the simmering resentment of Muslims against the West. Muslims are convinced by their ideology of Islam, that they are to be conquerors. And yet, here they are, not even the most powerful Muslim nation can stand up to less then 1% of the West’s military that is immediately available. They are reliant on us for food, money, and to take their surplus population. They are beggars in their home countries, and rely on Welfare in the West. Heck, even I would be humiliated, leave alone a group of people, who have been inculcated from birth, that they are conquerors.
What we are seeing is the defeat of Islam on its own terms – Osama knew the psychology of his people – strong horse etc. His 9/11 attack, was a last thrashing out against what he saw was the eventual defeat of Islam. Going out with a bang.
We have already won. Muslims are merely thrashing out like cornered rats. They are in a quandary, as they have never learnt how to accept defeat with grace.
