Quote of the Day

The strongest wins and there is no other cheek to take a new punch. Of course you could blindly chase the fata morgana of the equality of religions. But different from Christianity, islam is not for soft stick-in-the-muds that only want to discern the good in their neighbours. It’s subjugate or be subjugated. And while churches are attacked in Iraq and Christians driven out of the Middle East, more and more muslim faithful of the orthodox persuasion take possession of public space in Europe.

Sylvain Ephimenco in Trouw (NL). It’s in Dutch I’m afraid. But of you can read Dutch, this is one you don’t want to miss.
