A case-study into ‘peer review’

Much of the warmists’ defence against sceptics in general and the implications of Climategate in particular, depends on pointing out that much of the scientific literature sceptical of AGW never passed the peer-review system of many a journal. On the other hand, many papers supporting the hypothesis of AGW did pass peer-review.

Over at WUWT professors David H. Douglass and John R. Christy delved into the Climategate emails to reconstruct the process of peer-review in regard to a ‘sceptical’ paper they co-authored. It isn’t pretty.
