In a small item of De Telegraaf (NL) we learn that the Amsterdam city council has decided to strike the Dutch tri-colour and replace it with… the flag of the EUnion.
The starry circle will be hoisted daily above the building of the Amsterdam city council, the Stopera, flying next to the flag of Amsterdam, the latter the only flag flying until today.
The council of Mayor and Aldermen decided this last Tuesday evening, to emphasize the international character and ambition of the Dutch capital. The European flag will hence take precedence over the Dutch tri-colour, which will only fly at special occasions such as Queens Day and Liberation Day.
And thus Amsterdam city council is the first in what is going to be a growing sequence of Dutch authorities that will ‘volunteer’ us giving up our national character in favour of an anti-democratic, one-size-fits-none, 19-century fantasy government whose existence only serves the army of lazy, leeching jobsworths that occupy the ‘organs’ of the EUnion.
We’ve posed the question before. We will probably pose it more in the future: And the reason we don’t rise up and slaughter them all is?
No one in power is going to do anything about anything. Nothing on the EU. Nothing on the extreme cultural threat that we are under. And nothing on the social stress within.
We just have to be patient. The pressure on the finances are building up. The debt is piling up. Interest payments are due. Heaven only knows what other debt the EU has incurred but has not disclosed.
When the crisis arrives, as it did for Greece, then all these EU apparatchiks and the Quislings in the national government, will be running around blaming all and sundry.
As in Greece, everything will be up for grabs. The people who have prepared for the crisis, and they may well be the ones who caused it, will be the ones who win.
